– Work in Nepal has always been inspiring, even during the challenging times. I could safely say that every day there is something new and something surprising. Something that breaks routines and calls for new kind of approach or thinking, something you did not anticipate at the start of the day, Sanna-Leena Rautanen describes her experience in Nepal.
– The best reward comes from the people in our most remote villages where you can feel the difference that water and sanitation makes in people’s lives. The Home Office team has been a great support, dynamic and always available when we need them.
Sanna-Leena has worked with FCG in several water and sanitation projects in Nepal and Tanzania over the last decade. Currently she is based in Nepal as Chief Technical Adviser of Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project in Western Nepal Phase II.
