The Finnish Pacific Project (FINPAC) is a four year project funded by the Government of Finland and regionally coordinated through the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environmental Programme (SPREP). The project aims to deliver the following two inter-connected results: Result 1 - Improved and new weather and climate forecasts and warnings by National Meteorological Services (NMSs) in each of the participating Pacific countries. Result 2 - Improved ability of the NMSs to respond to the needs of villages with regard to hazardous weather and climate change. FCG carried out the Mid Term Review of the project, providing recommendations to improve implementation and to improve the sustainability of the results.
