The project contributed to the Health Sector Reform programme by designing two health sector Master Plans for the Governorates of Menofia and Sohag. For this purpose, in total 21 district plans were also prepared which served towards the two Master Plans at governorate level and towards a comprehensive National Health Plan. In addition, the knowledge transfer was an integral part of the project, and training courses for over 100 participants were organised on health planning issues, with focus on decentralised planning.
