Paul Paukku appointed FCG Group’s new CEO
The Board of FCG Finnish Consulting Group Oy has appointed Paul Paukku as the new CEO of FCG Group. Paukku will start working for FCG Group on 5 January 2009, and he will assume the CEO’s tasks as of 1 February 2009, when current CEO Seppo Mäki will retire as agreed in his contract.
Paul Paukku will transfer to FCG Group from Hewlett-Packard, where he most recently held the position of the General Western Europe Service Director. Before this, he worked for 12 years as the Managing Director of Hewlett-Packard Finland and the Baltic States.
-The new CEO will begin his work at a stage where the Group's operations are stabilised and the FCG brand is becoming widely known. The Group continues to grow, both nationally and internationally. Paul Paukku’s experience, background and attitude to management give him excellent prerequisites to continue the development of FCG Group’s development, says Risto Parjanne, Chairman of The Board.
-This is a challenge I could not refuse. I am especially interested in how the operations of an international and multi-industry company such as FCG can help Finnish society, improve the infrastructure and boost competitiveness. There is demand for FCG’s expertise also on the international market, Paul Paukku concludes.
