We are a partner for municipalities, companies and communities in multidisciplinary community planning, skills development, the promotion of good governance and software development. We also work with international financial institutions and ministries to promote a better quality of life in developing countries.

We combine different sectors of expertise to create new areas, and act in various ecosystems and network projects that support our basic task of making societies more sustainable and better places to live.

Our headquarters are in Helsinki, and we have a regional office network throughout the country. We also have offices in Asia, Oceania, Europe and Africa. FCG is owned by Kuntaliitto Holding. 

FCG’s first predecessor, Maaseudun keskusrakennustoimisto, was established in 1949 to serve rural municipalities in construction and school design in particular. FCG expanded internationally in 1967, when we started operations in Tunisia.
