Elizabeth McGowan
Elizabeth is a junior project manager working for the Natural Resource Management department at FCG Sweden. Since September 2021 she has worked with FCG Sweden in strategic and systems development as well as business development and project management in international development projects and framework agreements.
Elizabeth holds a MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics, specialising in Conflict and Peacebuilding and the International Politics of the Asia-Pacific. She also holds a BA in History and German from the University of Oxford. During her year abroad she studied Germanistik and International Politics at the Otto-Friedrich Universitaet Bamberg in Germany. She is fluent in English (native language) and German and speaks some French and Swedish. Previously she gained work experience in foreign affairs research, consulting and business development. Her particular interests are in sustainable development, natural resources management, food security and youth and women’s empowerment.
