Appraisal of Economic Growth and Employment Support Programme Benin

Appraisal of a new private sector and rural development programme 2011-2015 in Benin, with three components:

1. technical support to the private sector, business advisory services for SMEs and micro-enterprises and capacity strengthening of business associations
2. easier access to credit for SMEs and micro-enterprises through banks and microfinance institutions and
3. support to the national rural transport strategy implementation through construction and maintenance of rural feeder roads managed at the commune level.
