Capacity Building of the Gender Mechanisms of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The objective was the establishment of a well-functioning and a sustainable Fund for the Implementation of the Gender Action Plan (FIGAP) in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In order to achieve the project objective, the following results needed to be reached:

• Established operational mechanisms and a sustainable programme cycle methodology for the FIGAP,
• Sustainable capacity of the GEA and the Gender Centres in FBiH and RS in programme management, procurement, finance and monitoring.

The assignment was designed to assist the gender mechanisms of BiH to achieve the results and had the following components:

1. To support the establishment of the FIGAP mechanisms
2. To build the capacity of BiH GEA
