The project was part of an effort to increase ownership and promote governance and accountability for development aid in line with the Paris declaration on aid effectiveness, including budget support and sector programme support. The project prepared two country case studies describing the involvement of parliament in the development aid – for Zambia and Tanzania – respectively.
