Comments on IFAD Country Strategic Opportunities Programme (COSOP) in Uzbekistan

IFAD has prepared its draft 2023 – 2027 Country Strategic Opportunities Programme (COSOP). The COSOP is aligned with IFAD’s ambition to double impact by 2030, the Sustainable Development Goals and the vision of the 2022-2026 Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan; in particular with regard to the objectives of reducing poverty by half, doubling income of farmers within a competitive agrifood sector, creating jobs, enhancing food security and ensuring sustainable natural resources use.
