Evaluation of Building Issues publication

Upon request from the Urban Development Unit of Sida, SIPU carried out an evaluation of a Building Issues publication financed by Sida and distributed in cooperation countries. The evaluation aimed to assess the impact of the publication on the work done by regional and national professionals in the area of urban development. The analysis considered an assessment of the relevance of the topics included in the publication, the user-friendly character and the general layout of the publication. SIPU appointed three regional consultants to do the fieldwork in Africa, Latin America and Asia respectively. This evaluation was widely publicised by Sida as a good reference and as a model for future evaluations.
