Evaluation of the European Union Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) Programme (2014-2023)

The evaluation object is the EU Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) (2014-2023) programme, which Sida has supported since December 2014, when an agreement was signed with the European Forest Institute (EFI).

The evaluation purpose was: To provide an in-depth review of the EU FLEGT Programme's progress and achievements in relation to the program's objectives, as well as what works well and what has not work, and the lessons learned to the Embassy and EFI. To provide information on how the project implementation approach and delivery mechanisms could have been adjusted and improved, as well as which other aspects could have been improved.
