Evaluation of the project “Development of an Integrated Statistical Information System in Croatia”

SIPU was commissioned by Sida to carry out an evaluation of Sida's support to the Statistical Information System in Croatia. The support was channelled through Statistics Sweden (SCB).

The purpose of the evaluation was:

• To provide lessons learned from the project, i.e. the setting up of a full new Integrated Statistical Information System, which should be useful for planning and preparing similar projects in other countries. The evaluation should look at aspects like effectiveness, cost efficiency as well as sustainability in terms of maintenance and possibilities for future updating.
• To provide an impact/outcome assessment of the project's results as regards the overarching objectives and expected results, including assessment of the system’s technical functionality and adaption to the needs of the organisation.
