SIPU International has been requested to participate in the Board of Directors in the Sol Plaatje Housing Association (SPHA). The SPHA It is a Social Housing initiative building low- and medium income houses with a strong environmental approach. The project is part of an Integrated Development plan developed with technical support from SIPU.

The Ubutyebi Trust has also required permanent advisory services from SIPU. Ubutyebi Trust it is introducing micro finances concepts, saving schemes and micro loans for the improvement of houses structures between the poor people in Port Elizabeth.
