On behalf of the Swedish Embassy in Tanzania, SIPU International participated in a joint formulation mission for the EU and four member states (Denmark, Finland, Ireland and Sweden). The purpose of the joint mission was to formulate a results-oriented budget support operation in Tanzania for 2015-2019. SIPU's role was to contribute and strengthen the design of future budget support for the EC and concerned members states aligned to Swedish priorities and requirements and to strengthen the results orientation of a future budget support operation.
