As part of Pacific Resilience Project Phase II (PREP II), the Ministry of Works, Infrastructure and Utilities (“MWIU”) requires the consultancy services of an Engineering firm to undertake the design (including relevant safeguards inputs), technical assistance on procurement process, and construction supervision of the Ebeye oceanside coastal protection works (seawall). The terms of reference are comprised of two Parts. Part 1 is for design; Part 2 is for procurement assistance and construction management / supervision and design amendments post Constructor input. As coastal design guidelines are limited for atoll environments this is an opportunity for the Designer to carry out leading edge design through risk management, physical modelling and an iterative design process.
