Public Sector Reform

SIPU International provided support to the Public Sector Development and Reform Secretariat at the Office of the President, the Kenyan Institute of Administration, Ministry of Local Government and other ministries to design a Kenyan model of result-based management, including performance based budgeting, client satisfaction surveys, HRM policies and reform strategies. The project included a bench-marking study tour to Sweden for a policy group and technical team led by the Minister for Public Service in the Office of the President. Support was also extended to the development of the privatization policy for water services.
