SARDP is a participatory rural development programme funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperative Agency (Sida). It covers the East Gojjam and South Wallo zones of the Amhara National Regional State (ANRS). The overall objective of SARDP is to contribute to poverty reduction in the target woredas. The focus is to support community development at the woreda level where the capacity for development planning, implementation and delivery of services will be strengthened in order to reduce poverty and improve rural livelihoods.

The SARDP III is coming to an end at the end of June 2010. The Programme had prepared a draft Consolidated Report for the whole of Phase III. The objective of the assignment was to help the PCU to finalise this document.
