Support to Audit Services, Phase III, Sierra Leone

The project enhanced the effectiveness of the Sierra Leone external audit function through strengthening the Sierra Leone Audit Service’s capacity to conduct audits of the performance of the public sector and through more effective Parliamentary oversight of the audit results, through profession building – conduct of audits in line with international standards and methods with increased efficiency of financial audits and expanded capacity to carry out IT, forensic, contract and performance audits and securing greater impact by making the outputs of the ASSL have a lasting impact on Government’s financial performance.
