Technical assistance for the implementation of the project “MDG initiative: drinking water and sanitation”

The general objective of the project that this market takes part in is “to fight against poverty by improving the living and health conditions of the populations through extensive, sustainable and equitable access to drinking water and improved sanitation infrastructure". More specifically, the project intends "to contribute to the achievement of the MDGs by improving access to drinking water and sanitation in the city of N'Djamena and major urban centres and by strengthening the institutional framework.

The specific objectives of this contract are as follow:
–    Monitoring, control and supervision of the drinking water supply and sanitation works in the town of Massakory
–    Monitoring and control of the complementary works of the drinking water supply and sanitation in the cities of Ati, Mangalmé, Beinamar, Danamadji and Guelendeng
–    Monitoring of the lifting of the reservations made during the provisional acceptance of the drinking water supply and sanitation systems in the cities of Ati, Mangalmé, Beinamar, Danamadji and Guelendeng and control of all the work to be carried out by the companies holding the contracts during the guarantee period defined in the contracts
–    Conducting surveys and census of households interested in connecting to private connections in Massakory.
