Technical Assistance for the State Budget Preparation Process of the Republic of Serbia

The project aimed at:

1. Introducing improved budget planning and preparation processes in the MoF and major sector ministries that: (i) bring greater realism to the budget planning process by requiring that budgets are planned against realistic mid-term resource ceilings (ii) strengthen linkage between sector policies and strategies and budget allocations and (iii) allow and require budget users to utilise resource inputs more efficiently in the implementation of programme activities.
2. Contributing to the development and effective deployment of professional and technical capacities for expenditure planning and budget preparation.
