FCG sells its international development consulting business

FCG Finnish Consulting Group sells its international development consulting business to Canadian Cowater International, a global consulting firm. The contract of sale was signed on 24.11.2023. The completion of the transaction, which is expected to take place before the end of year 2023, is subject to customary closing conditions. Cowater International is a private company focused solely on international development consulting. It works with governments, private sector actors and local communities to strengthen socio-economic development, government institutions, and the sustainable use of natural resources and while promoting equal opportunities for all in development projects all across the globe. 

The transaction includes FCG’s development consulting business in all countries where such business is currently conducted. In addition to Finland, FCG’s business in question has offices in Sweden, Germany, Kenya, New Zealand, and Singapore. Employees who have worked in development consulting at FCG in these units will transfer to Cowater International as of completion of the transaction.
